What are the Benefits for the Clinician?
…better outcomes and better efficiency
"Built in” Compliance
Poor compliance can result in failure of the treatment plan and unwanted complications. For many, including the elderly and infirm, compliance with dressing changes and the application of medication is often difficult and stressful. Once the Aplion device is applied by the clinician, the patient can be in compliance with the prescribe treatment with little or no intervention on their part.
Enabling Individualized Treatment
The clinician can choose the appropriate topical solutions to deliver in the Aplion device to ensure the best agent for treating a specific wound. This Individualized Treatment plan may be directed toward reducing bio-burden or infection, reducing pain or controlling inflammation all while simultaneously promoting a moist wound healing environment.
Up to 7 Days of “Hands Free” Continuous Care
The Aplion device can provide a hydrated environment supplemented with prescribed agents for an extended period of up to 7 days with minimal interaction by the patient.
